Absolutely great for Thanksgiving dinner today. Service was flawless, food was outstanding, bartender was masterful. And the views are always striking. I highly recommend the Red Inn.

The Red Inn is consistently rated among the best places in town for a reason. The environment and food are truly outstanding. From the quiet garden, to cocktails served waterside at sunset, to the cozy wood-paneled dining room, you simply can't ask for a better setting in town.

I had great expectations for this restaurant so well rated for location and quality of the food. But we didn't have the time to appreciate it because we were basically kicked out. They sat us on the corner, to me it was normal to my wife it was suspicious (thinking after she was right) since there were many empty same size tables with the nice view. My son started to be fussy during the appetizer. Not even few seconds that he started to be uncomfortable that the maitre came to let us know that if our baby doesn't stop they will move us to the lobby. We decided to leave because this is unacceptable in 2017 but we still paid for the appetizers and tipped the waitress that had no fault with it...but such behaviour didn't deserve a single penny.

I've never had the pleasure of staying at the Red Inn, so this review is for dinner only.

This place is well worth going to, but make sure you book in advance as it is busy. That said when you are there you aren't rushed and the atmosphere is very good with the waiting staff there when you need them, helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and the views out the windows beautiful.

I am still very puzzled. It never occurred to me (and I travelled a lot) to experience such rudeness and insensitivity. I have always gone out with people who have kids and never did we ever hear or experience anything like that. We are on vacation, where are we supposed to leave him to be able to have dinner? My wife and I always do our best to not disturb anyone around us but if you have ever been around babies you would understand that they don't have a control button.

Dropped it for happy hour oysters and boiled shrimp before dinner. The bartender was incredibly helpful with answering our food allergy issues and whipped up a great margarita. The view to the beach was delightful and it was great being able to grab our drinks and take them with us to the deck for some freah ocean breeze while we sipped and chatted. Great spot to hang out with a group of friends, plenty of tables and chairs.

To a dish, the food is excellent. On this particular night I had the duck, but in the past have had the filet, and the scallops, among other things. I've never been disappointed.

I recommend the Red Inn unequivocally.
