My only recommendation...we had to smoke across the street in the parking lot. As someone who likes to have a scotch and cigar in the evening...this was the only drawback...otherwise...totally amazing experience.
Of all the places we've stayed in P-town, this is the only place we'll return to. We loved it.
If you do stay, enjoy your briefing on arrival (you'll understand once you have heard it :-) ).
Beds were comfortable, rooms clean, breakfasts good and the Iocation is perfect for meandering past the shops and galleries. Parking is available and free.
The place is cute but the name says it all: snug! Somehow we ended up with a tiny room off the main living area of the b&b. We are literally only one thin wall away from the breakfast area in the morning. Starting at 8am there are a lot of very audible hellos and good mornings. The first night here, we also didn't have AC in our room. That was a mess but they installed one the second day. The owner is very nice and the house lady is super sweet. There is breakfast in the morning and wine in the afternoon. I mean, idk what to say, it is on ok place, but we won't be back next year.
Snug as a bug....I love Snug Cottage. My only regret is that we only booked 2 days. I wish now I would have booked my entire 2 weeks with Tim and the staff at Snug Cottage.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Provincetown then a room in Snug Cottage could be good choice. It's a little tired round the edges but its nothing a good handymen couldn't sort it out easily (regardless of the owners comments about it being difficult because it's a historic house).
Snug Cottage is a guest house and has a comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel as if you're staying in somebody's home, which is the point. We stayed in the Victoria Suite, which was much more spacious than we'd expected. The queen size bed was comfortable and the sheets were a higher quality than we have at home. We were in heaven.
Good location, friendly owner, good selection of food for breakfast and comfortable bedroom. Some of the bathroom facilities are a little tired, but just being in Ptown makes up for these minor points.
Easy walk to Commercial Street and some awesome restaurants and clubs.
My husband and I stayed here the weekend before Halloween and enjoyed ourselves. The host was friendly, the morning spread offered more than enough to eat and the staff always greeted us with a smile.
