There for the Christmas inn walk...looked like a nice place
The Anchor Inn is a lovely property, in the perfect location in Provincetown. The rooms are generously sized, and the rooms overlooking the harbor have outstanding views. The only criticism I have is that much of the furniture is old and worn out feeling. The sofa in our room was surprisingly hard and lumpy and generally not very comfortable. To be clear, I'm not expecting the Ritz Carlton, but I think this could be improved. Also, the electrical outlets are clearly old - many of them are so "loose" they can't even hold a plug.
Good location, decent views and smart rooms. Mediocre breakfast and welcome.
Love this place!! Owners are more then accommodating. Favorite thing to do while there is sit on the magnificent front porch and people watch.
We couldn't have asked for more. The hospitality goes beyond any other. Can't wait to see you all again.
