Fantastic bike trail, and great views from the top of the visitor's center. Beware, the trail is quite hilly, so be prepared for a workout. It's super well maintained, and Rangers are available in the gift shop to answer questions. Many informative signs as well.
Worth checking out the views of the beach from both decks. There are also some great hiking/biking trails on and around the visitors center. Race Point Beach is also immediately adjacent to this visitors center.
Great history of the outer cape. Nice exhibits. Theater shows interesting but dated short documentary films.
Great observation deck, interesting assortment of things to buy and things to look at downstairs. If you need a break you can watch one of several movies in the auditorium. From the observation deck you can often see whales.
The people in the visitor's center we're so friendly and provided maps and suggested parking areas for when we drove into Ptown. If you're lucky, you can see whales from the observation deck!
