Nice beach but it has been severely impacted by erosion. It's now much smaller than it used to be. It's still s nice beach worth visiting. Occasionally, right whales can be seen just offshore feeding - usually in the spring.

Van Rensselaer's of Wellfleet is a place we go for our first dinner of our vacation and the last dinner. It is clean, friendly and seems to be well run. The price point is nothing out of the ordinary for a vacation spot and the portions are big. You may think it old-fashioned, but I will take that over any new stuffy and snobby. I want to relax when I am on vacation. And of course you must have the Wellfleet oysters!

Best sunsets of any Cape Cod National Seashore Beach. Great beach for dogs. Don't walk your dog too far though unless you want to stumble onto the clothing-optional beaches. ;-)

Although not highest rated beach in Provincetown by TripAdvisor, we thought this was much better than Run Cove Beach. This beach has a nice bar/changing room/picnic area, has a shorter walk from the parking lot to the beach and has clearer water. We thought this should be #1 in town.

Great beach, with clear warm bay water, but in my opinion, doesnt portray the best of what Cape Cod beaches have to offer. Racepoint Beach is 5 minutes away, and is much more beautiful and dramatic, especially at sunset. If you're into nude sunbathing however, this is one of only 2 beaches on the Cape that have an unofficial nude bathing section. It is officially against national seashore policy, but I'm told that the beach rangers turn a blind eye to it here. If you keep walking to the left of beach (about 10 minutes past the family section), you reach the topless area, followed by the nude area. Whether you choose to wear clothes or not, its a beautiful, outer Cape beach that will offer much peace, solitude, reflection and relaxation.
