Coast Guard Road beach is a great beach with only a few locals-only parking spots. A close walk from nearby dog-friendly camping options, it gets pretty busy despite the small lot size. Nice clean sand and friendly sharks. Coast Guard Road beach allows dogs on the unprotected areas all summer long. At night there is National Seashore ORV access for night fishing only. Fun place to go.

We were able to take our well behaved dog to visit the beach after hours from our campsite, something we haven't been able to do in years. Everyone there was nice and helpful we had a great vacation to the cape and allot has to do with the wonderful time we had at Coast Guard beach!
