I used to get really good service at Conwell and am a long time customer but the last two times I have been over there no one seems to know where things are. I had to find the lumber myself because no one seemed to know what hard wood floors were. Once I found it I had to go back to the bin and photograph the label there so that they could ring it up. Today I was looking for a hand truck. Was ready to buy it and again they seemed to thing they had them but no one could tell where they were. There wasn't any manager available and even when I called and asked to speak to the manager no one answered the phone. Another time I went in for paint and it took two people to eventually get the paint mixer to work. Come on people get your act together.
Cowells has been our go-to place for all our away from home "oops, forgot to bring ____." They have everything you could possibly need. This year we needed 2 tarps and a broom. One year we needed pvc piping to replace a missing tent pole. They have a great beach and garden selection as well.
Surprised to find artist supplies- stocked much better than actual "artist supply" store in town and better prices. Great atmosphere, nice people. They have EVERYTHING
