Used to be one of favorite stops in Provincetown but they no longer have the military and corporate surplus they were famous for. It has become more of a clothing and knicknack place.
When I was a teen (decades ago) this was the one place I wanted to go for dummy hand grenades, ammo boxes and other military surplus. It is a delight for the eye with all types of clutter hanging from the ceiling. It still is an interesting place to visit, but I don't need anymore Russian gas masks or license plates. You cannot describe it but I recommend a visit.
No trip to Provincetown is complete without visiting Marine Specialties. This is a large store with all kinds of kitsch, knick-knacks, clothing, shoes, toys, army surplus, and on and on. And you can visit it two days in a row and find different items each time. Lots of fun and not to be missed
Where else can you find Swedish navy sleeping pants? Or German tank driver socks? Pins galore, camping supplies, TONS of kids toys???? This place is a top stop every single time we're in P-Town. Stock changes fairly regularly. Awesome army/navy store, one of the best ive ever been to, period!
Very cool findings here of all different types. Always different things every time we visit. A must stop when on commercial street.
