I've been to Ptown thousands if times. Ate here twice. Food is okay but unfortunately they are next door to a fantastic, gourmet spot that out shines them in atmosphere and culinary. Okay bands every once in a blue moon, but here again, the street performers across the street in front of Town Hall often outshine the talent within. Most people look in, a few actually go in.
Would give 0 stars if I could. On vacation from South Florida, and this was my first time visiting Provincetown. Upon walking in, myself my mother and my cousin were looking for somewhere to sit down to look out on the water and have some lunch. When we walked in, there was a table outside waiting to be cleared, so we were reassured by the host that once that table was cleared, we would be seated there. So we sat inside next to a table that already had their food, appearing as they had been there a while. A minute later our waitress came to our table, and we told her we were actually waiting for the table that was located outside if she needed to wait to take our order at all. Overhearing this, who appeared to be the manager was INCREDIBLY rude and yelled at our waitress to take our order NOW. It was her first day, and she was obviously upset and taken back by this. We felt so bad. Then, we overheard the table next to us say to the manager that they actually wanted that table outside, even though it was already promised to us. Rudely, the manager came over and said that they had been waiting for the table before we came in, which we already knew was untrue. Disgusted at this point, was all walked out and wished our waitress luck for the rest of the day, for she was the only pleasant part of the experience. Overall, I would NOT recommend this restaurant due to the customer service being incredibly poor on the manager's part for he was extremely rude and disrespectful to not only his customers but his employees as well. Provincetown has SO much more to offer than this poor restaurant.
Nice blue collar hang out.nice fresh oysters and fantastic condiments for dipping the oysters in. Live music was a great classic Pop trio. Moderately priced martinis. Good place for the relaxed sophisticant
