Awesome, the drinks were outstanding. I got the shimmering cap with red pepper flakes, spicy and delicious. Shrimp and oysters at happy hour were better than the red inn. Tuna and steak tartare were some of the best I've had.
Excellent happy hour in Ptown. Went in at 4pm with one hour left to order before dinner menu prices start. Had two dozen oysters at $1 each and the tuna tartar. The oysters were fantastic, not overly briny, served with a strong garlicky vinegar and a horseradish cocktail sauce. The tuna tartar was amazing. Had the strawberry sangria and tried the peach sangria, not terribly fond of either, both were very sweet and not too strong, almost juice like.
First time there; it was a fun, intimate atmosphere and friendly staff. Menu and plating geared around sharing vs individual meals but portions are right for individuals if you prefer. Cool approach where the dishes come out as they are ready. Food was fantastic and we'll certainly go back! I probably wouldn't go there for a quiet one-on-one date but for anything else it would be perfect.
What a great place, food was tremendous. Service was excellent. Was a cozy environment next to the fireplace. Definitely going to come again.
Creative menu, intimate dining and great service, combined with delicious drinks makes this a must visit restaurant. Reservations required.
