Just shared the panko haddock and the mac & cheese lobster. Absolutely delicious!!! Just came back and had to edit my review. Had the Portuguese stew....wow!!! Amazing!! And our waitress Crystal was beyond amazing! We had so much fun with her. Also the manager Anastasia took out reservation for
10 on the patio and came to talk with us. Amazing service. Would totally come back!!!
I had two delicious vegetarian meals here. A bit pricey, but service was good. Beautiful space. Bathrooms are upstairs and homey.
Great food and wait staff but the hosts are so absurdly rude that it's not even worth it. Three times I've had a horrible experience with different hosts. We made a reservation and were told even though it was our anniversary that we couldn't request a table outside. Once we arrived we saw one clearing out. The rude host said it was for special occasions like birthdays. I told him the seating was better for my deaf wife and son because of visibility and he laughed it off and dismissed him. We are livid. This isn't just rude, it's illegal. Even the boy who sat us was very apologetic. Disgusting.
The outdoor seating is always nice (I don't think I've ever been inside the actual building). The wait staff is friendly, many of them are European. The drinks are refreshing, the food is always delicious--the menu is just big enough to provide variety and to satisfy most if not all. There is great people-watching from the outdoor dining area. What's not to love!?
I almost didn't go in based on the reviews, but boy am I glad we did anyways.The shrimp tacos are the best I've ever had; the balance of tartness, spiciness, sweetness... the soft, the crunchy.. most excellent! Family liked the crab cakes, fish n'chips (proper chips and crispy coating on the fish), and kiddie burger all received top marks too. Outdoor seating makes it a fab holiday dining spot
