I tried a few different pastries. Most of them were too sweet. I couldn't even eat them. The only thing that was pretty good was the blueberry turnovers. Their small almond cookies didnt taste like almonds and their coffee was burnt.
Delicious. Be prepared to wait in the mornings. And the fried isdough is awesome and goes fast.
Pretty good place for a relatively inexpensive, quick, wholesome breakfast. The things they're making in the front window? Yeah, you're gonna want to have one of those, maybe two. As best as I can compare to something familiar; it's like a really, really, really good churro, just in a different shape. Cinnamon and sugar on fried dough, can't beat it.
You absolutely can never beat done some Chocolate Cake (regular or flourless) and a Masalada.
The sugar coated fried dough was delicious. There were only a few left on the tray but they were still warm. Constantly being made fresh. They sell quickly. Service is quick. The cashier/counter girl was efficient and welcoming.
